His CD’s Out Now :)

Last night I posted the video of Sherman Pore and a friendly little bird told me that he just released a CD. Dang, where have I been? Too much working, I guess. Well, looking at the tracks, I can’t wait to download it from iTunes. After all, it’s for a good cause. So to you American classic fans (or those who are getting a bit tired of Michael Buble and long for a real classic Sinatra-ish voice in this computer age), lookout for ‘My Lady Love’, an album by Sherman Pore.

Among the track lineup are MY favorite timeless numbers such as: The Way You Look Tonight, You Belong To Me (uh huh, the song dedicated to late wife, Melissa), Autumn Leaves, Dream a Little Dream of Me and The Very Thought of You.

This blog was made and meant to pour what’s inside my head, as a personal therapy, and if there are readers entertained by my thoughts… it’s great. However, I couldn’t help but notice some of the comments nowadays are heading towards the areas I never want to touch such as religion, faith and racism. Since I want to keep the silliness going without feeling bad about what I said or worse, starting a ‘serious fight’ within this supposedly ‘fun’ blog, I just did what I’ve never wanted to do.

I think this solution is the best, because as I probably say this many times before: you are entitled to your opinion(s) and delivering it to me through this medium while I am entitled to to my decision(s) to display or not display your comment(s). Fair enough? I think so.

Sherman Pore, A Forgotten Gem

It has always been my habit to look back on everything that had passed whenever a TV show ends its season. This time, I looked back on the recently ended American Idol and I realized that I haven’t said anything about a man named Sherman Pore. Been too busy bitching about the contestants and praising Melinda Doolittle too much, I forgot about the real winner of the show.

A Toast To An Excellent Finale

After Melinda Doolittle and LaKisha Jones were eliminated from American Idol this season, I kinda lost interest in watching Blake and Jordin’s battle towards the throne.  And Jordin, as I predicted, won the title and the whole thing.

Makes Me Wonder…

I wanna dance everytime I hear this song. The play count in my iPod as of today is 98. Means if I play it two more times, I’ll be proud to say that I listened to this song a hundred times in a day. Wahoo!

Adam Levine, why do you have to dress so well and look so great?

Drooling over him? Nah. I’m just admiring his style. He’s gay. Hm. Maybe that’s why he looks too good to be true.

Woke up to an annoying morning Entertainment News on local TV and I suddenly feel like noting down my new and revamped definitions of certain vocabs in Indonesian showbiz.  Here goes…

Okay. I thought I’d never post another thing about American Idol 2007, especially after LaKisha Jones got kicked out last week (yes it broke my heart to pieces, and no I’m not totally over it yet). There goes my dream of having a KiKi VS Melinda in the finals. But the show goes on and it’s down to Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks and my lovely Melinda Doolittle.
