TWICE People. TWICE!

In My American Idol Addiction on March 19, 2008 at 8:22 pm

Obviously after what had happened last week I’m not gonna even try to predict who’s gonna be eliminated next in American Idol because hey, it’s a part popularity contest anyway. However, I haven’t given up on the show yet. I don’t want to comment on the contestants’ performances because Archuleta clearly made sure nobody else gets the praise of “Master Class” from Cowell. So let’s just leave it at that.

There is one thing to note, though.

Cowell winked twice to Seacrest this week and the buzz about it is all over the internet. Ain’t gonna share any links. Just get your lazy asses to Google.

Well he can wink all he wants, but I’m still with one of those ladies attending his sign-making class -said ‘probably jealous’ Seacrest-.

I still think Cowell is sexy. He’s my next Clooney.

*newly added:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Kristy’s threat to “blow Cowell out of his socks”.  You better watch it, sweetheart.  As if ruining two Beatles songs two weeks in a row isn’t enough, you’re trying to blow and take my Brit away from me?  Ahahaha… I’m so ready to give you a wedgie, country girl.  It’s bad enough I’m sharing  Cowell with Seacrest.

HAHAUHAUHAUHAUHAUHAUAUHAUHUA!

Bye Senor Hernandez…

In My American Idol Addiction on March 13, 2008 at 6:04 pm

… and I still think that dumb blonde Kristy whateversomethingyadayada should be the one going home.
Seriously thinking of boycotting the show until the bitch who ruined 8 Days A Week gets eliminated.

And whoever voted for her…

… clearly you guys should try to buy a one way ticket to Indonesia and watch AFI or SUPER MAMA instead, because you all seem to like CRAP.
Morons.

First Top 12 Week: The Best and The Worst

In My American Idol Addiction on March 13, 2008 at 12:52 am

Finally the night every Idolholics have been waiting for…

The Top 12 Week.

Singing songs from The Lennon-McCartney songbook, here are my version of the best performances of the night:

Chickezie Eze
Seeing Mr. Eze  all these weeks feels like riding a see saw.  And tonight I was brought really high in the air.  Eze’s staying, and don’t you bring me down again dude.

Carly Smithson
I dislike her dress although I am so relieved that she ditched the mom jeans.  Let’s just say the clothes are ‘coming together’ and the voice rocked.

David Cook
LOVED the performance.  Eleanor Rigby is NOT an easy song, and I swore if he messed it up, I was gonna hate him for the rest of my life.  But he didn’t mess it up and I bet Lennon and McCartney would be proud.  Oh and his hair looked way better without those blond highlights.

Brooke White
I  started crying when she hit the second verse.  I only cry at Susan Sarandon movies and never at music shows.  So yeah, she brought it.  I’ve never been a fan of hers, but tonight I am.  And she is Idol material.

And here are the worst performances of the night, containing people whom I hope NEVER sing any Beatles song… ever:

Top 12 (?)

In My American Idol Addiction on March 9, 2008 at 12:01 pm

Still mending my broken heart over Asia’h Epperson’s elimination from the competition.  I mean, to put her side by side with Kristy watchamacallher?  Insulting.

Luke Menard is going back being a wandering minstrel, only now a styled up one.  Kady Malloy will be a great voice artist.  Danny Noriega will replace David Hernandez’s spot on the stripper pole if he doesn’t get that audition on Ugly Betty.  And Asia’h… oh man, I just hope the Jennifer Hudson success story will repeat itself on you.  I really do.

And yeah, this time I voted and guess what America?

You all suck.

Aw Girls… *Worried*

In My American Idol Addiction on March 7, 2008 at 1:39 am

I seriously am worried about my favorite girls in the AI top 16 lineup tonight.  Really.

Asia’h, what’s the matter with you girl?  Why is it so hard to bounce back from that horrible horrible cold you had last week?  I am worried, really.  I do hope Asia’h will make it through next week in the final 12.

Kady Malloy… ok I’ll miss your Britney Spears impressions.  Bye now.

Boys, Here We Go Again

In My American Idol Addiction on March 5, 2008 at 11:18 pm

Generally I think tonight the boys performed so well that it’s kinda hard to decide which two are gonna go home.  Let’s see…

Luke Menard.  Why can’t I like this supposedly cute guy?  I mean, he’s got the face and all, but whatever comes out of his mouth just don’t seem right.  Guess he whammed his chance to go to the finals.  This was an easy one.

Outties!

In My American Idol Addiction on February 29, 2008 at 11:29 pm

Ah finally Jason Yeager left the show.  I’m just glad I don’t have to see his annoying smile anymore.  And Alexandra Lushington, I think deserves another chance.  But she’s not one contestant that I’ll miss too terribly.  As for Alaina Whitaker, aaawww… now she’s what I call the next big thing in entertainment as she didn’t screw the production crew over with an on-the-spot rundown change just because she too tearful to sing.  She bravely stepped up and did her last song.  Thank your lucky stars, producers.  Even though she didn’t make it in the show, at least you have a name when you need a filler for your other shows.  And lastly, Robbie Carico.  Finally, dude.  My final advice would be, get a ticket to England and audition for Take That.  Or form a boyband called ‘Spice Boys’ or something.  Seriously.  You’ll earn huge caaassshh!

Before I end this very short post, I just want to point out something.  Remember that I said I am getting bored with Ramielle’s hairdo?  Well turned out that it was an instant trend, because our judge Ms. Paula Abdul appeared tonight with one side longer hair than the other.  And Ramielle went with a curly wavy ‘do.  What is this?  Reverse role-play?  Man.  It’s sick.

The good thing tonight is, my favorites are still in the show and they are apparently getting better from the flu.  Which leads to my question:  what happens if one survives one’s ‘under the weather’ condition?  Does one get ‘over the weather’?

Funny.

Let’s Just Talk Dresses, People. Seriously.

In My American Idol Addiction on February 29, 2008 at 12:48 am

The girls were a bit off this week, as they are bordering on an unusual mediocrity which reminded me of our own Indonesian Idol contestants -post Joy and Delon, that is.  So, I’m just gonna leave it to the judges about their voices and start commenting on their appearance for a change.  After all, I think the producers realized that they weren’t in shape to really perform as some of them were really sick and all that they were dressed up really nicely.  An attempt to divert attention?  Possibly.  But hey, our Indonesian Idol stylist(s) can actually sit tight and take notes because apart from their so-so voices tonight, (some of) these girls looked like a million dollars.  Here goes.

Week 2 Guys’ Night on American Idol

In My American Idol Addiction on February 28, 2008 at 1:08 am

Okay before I write anything, I’m just gonna pretend to ignore Simon Cowell’s wink to Ryan Seacrest.  Hang on, let me get myself together.

Almost there…

Just a little bit more…

Okay.  I’ve found my peace, and no, Cowell’s not Seacrest’s love interest.  No.

Right.  Phew.  Been reading too much Idol blogs that are saying that they are flirting.  NO.  Okay, cool it.

Here goes.

First Cut on AI

In My American Idol Addiction on February 23, 2008 at 12:17 pm

I should say Ryan Seacrest pulled a rather brutal cut on Garrett Haley last night.  You know, I think I feel kinda sorry for Haley.  He’s a contestant with the lowest camera time compared to the others, and to have been eliminated in the virginal top 24 round is absolutely terrible.  And to make matters worse, the producers thought that it would add the suspense by kicking him off there and then.  Too bad for the little dude, but I can’t say I’m gonna remember which one he was after this anyway.
